Fetch a single public LinkedIn post — the author, full text, engagement counts, and top comments.

GET /v1/linkedin/post/{post_id}

Path parameter

Parameter	Description
post_id	A post activity_id (e.g. 7510981610687614977) or a full post URL. See identifiers.

URLs returned by the search endpoint can be passed verbatim.

id	Numeric post activity id.
url	Canonical post URL.
type	post or article.
published_at	ISO-8601 publish timestamp.
headline	Post headline, when present.
text	Short post title / summary.
article_body	The full post text.
image_url	Primary image, when present.
hashtags[]	Hashtags found in the post.
mentions[]	Mentions found in the post.
author	Author details (see below).
engagement	Like, comment, and share counts.
comment_count	Total comments on the post (may exceed those in comments[]).
comments[]	The post's top comments.

Author

Field	Description
name	Author display name.
url	Author profile URL.
image_url	Author profile image.
follower_count	Author follower count, when available.

Comment

Field	Description
author	Commenter display name.
text	Comment text.
published_at	ISO-8601 timestamp.
like_count	Reactions on the comment.

Billing

Billed per request — units = 1. See Billing.

Errors

HTTP	code	Meaning
400	invalid_post_id	Not a valid post URL or activity id.
404	post_not_found	Private, removed, or nonexistent.
429	upstream_rate_limited	Transient block — retry with backoff.
